jeremy hood

owner & construction manager

Jeremy has 20 years in the building industry. He is an experienced carpenter, an expert in insulation, and skilled at managing teams. Jeremy knows how to take a house from planning phases to finish. He manages the schedule, sub-contractors and quality of our builds. He is an incredible multi-tasker and oversees the day to day workmanship of our homes. He has worked for Snow Building Construction, Five Eagles Design and Preferred Building Systems. Jeremy worked in Aspen, CO, designing and building for the most discerning home-owners. He also owned his own building and remodeling company prior to working with Quechee Design and Build, LLC. Jeremy has experience with energy efficient custom homes and has taken projects from permitting to turn-key for his customers.

cheryl kirkman

designer & project manager

Cheryl has been building and designing homes since 2008. With a BS in Biochemistry and MBA in International Business, she was a successful project manager in the pharmaceutical industry. Turns out many of the skills she needed in her earlier career are useful in homebuilding: balancing equations, project planning and management, people skills. Cheryl has a passion for creating spaces that are beautiful and functional for the way we live today. Cheryl helps homeowners create spaces that meet the way we live today. She also manages the construction project to ensure it stays on schedule and is executed to our customers’ satisfaction. Always keeping in mind costs and benefits, she helps her clients make sound choices. Cheryl was founder and owner of Affinity Builders, LLC, which she sold to have time to raise her two children. As children grew, she started consulting in architectural design and build in Concord, MA. Most recently, she is back doing what she loves – designing and building energy efficient homes for today’s lifestyle.
